We want to give a big shout-out and thank you to all the folks and vendors who came out for our Spooktacular Event this past weekend. We had a blast, and we hope you did too!

Don’t look now, but our Spooktacular Halloween Event is just around the corner! This weekend, October 27-28 from 10 am – 6 pm, we’ll be rolling out some wild and wacky fun inside the park. And we want you and your little ones to share the bewitching excitement.

What deliciously diabolical treats await you?

• Trick or Treating (in a fun, safe environment–only $3 per person)
• Costume & pumpkin decorating contests
• A Silly Haunted House
• The Not So Scary Train
• An Awesome Little Pumpkin Patch
• Ghost stories from the Funderland Witch (kid-friendly tales told for little ears)
• Rides, crafts, contests and so much more!

Plus, we’ll have face a painting station for those last minute costume touches, and a professional photographer on hand to capture your little ones in all their weird and wonderful glory (photos will be available for purchase that day).

More fun-tastic deals: kids who come dressed in costume will get $1 off trick or treating. And if you bring in a new game or new art supplies for River Oak Center for Children, you’ll receive some free tickets (amount of tickets based on item donated). So plan on joining us this weekend for all the frightfully fun festivities.

We can’t wait to see all the Boo-tiful costumes!

Have you heard about our friends over at River Oak Center for Children? Their organization helps children at risk, troubled teens, and families through mental health services, social services, behavioral therapy, and family counseling. They’re a great group of folks, and we really enjoy working with them over the past years.

Well, this month River Oak is in need of new games and art supplies. So if you bring a new game or new art supplies to the park, we would like to thank you by offering you some free tickets for our Spooktacular Halloween event (amount of tickets based on item donated). We’ll have candy, crafts, costume and pumpkin decorating contests, and more! For all the details, make sure to check out our event page.

It’s that wonderful time of year again. We love autumn with its cool, crisp mornings, rustling leaves, and spooky spectacles!

And speaking of spectacles… mark your calendars for our Spooktacular Halloween event coming up October 27 & 28 from 10 a.m.– 6 p.m. The park will be full of fun, mystery, and spine-tingling adventure. Not to mention trick or treating for candy for just $3 a person. While you are munching on your treats feel free to roam our pumpkin patch, visit our vendors, get creative at the craft tables, or brave a trip on our not too spooky train. Then later you can wander over to our silly haunted house for some hair-raising thrills and chills. Plus, kids who come dressed in costume will get $1 off trick or treating. So plan to join us for candy, crafts, contests, and more!
