‘Tis the wonderful Holiday Season!
First and foremost, we would like to wish our Funderland friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for all of our loyal customers! Thank you for being such an important part of our lives! Happy and his staff are overwhelmed with joy to be able to provide a place for you and your bundles of joy a place to create unforgettable memories together.
We hope you enjoy quality time with your family, eat delicious food, and take plenty of naps. If your little ones need to run off the energy from all of that pumpkin pie, come spend time with us this weekend!
Aside from Thanksgiving, this Saturday, November 26th is Small Business Saturday! Come celebrate with us and support your favorite local theme park!
Happy supports small businesses! Here are a couple reasons why you should “Support Small”:
You are creating jobs within your community.
Shopping at locally-owned businesses creates employment opportunities for members of your community. Whether it be a teenager trying to save for his/her first car, a college student trying to work towards their degree, or a single parent creating a future for his/her children; you are making a positive difference in your local economy.
You have pride in knowing the people responsible for the product and service.
When you know the people you are buying from, you enjoy a connection with them. There is nothing quite like being greeted with your first name when you walk into a local business. It feels good to know you are supporting a company that is truly thankful for your business and presence. In addition, you usually receive better customer service. If a manager isn’t emotionally involved in the decision-making process, chances are the customer service quality will lack. With small business, customer service is hands-on, personalized, and friendlier. There are exceptions to this, of course, but small business generally delivers stronger customer service.
Your tax dollars are hard at work in your own community.
Locally-owned businesses recycle a larger portion of their sales back into your local economy, enriching your entire community. In addition, locally-owned businesses are more likely to purchase their supplies and products from other local businesses than chain stores. Every employee of that local business usually spends their earnings within the community, as well.
When you consider how many small businesses surround you in your everyday lives, it is impressive to think about the amount of time, commitment and labor these hard working individuals contribute to make their businesses thrive. Small Business Saturday, any Saturday or any other day in between, supporting locally-owned businesses deserves to be part of your daily routine.
